Building furniture for a bar was a milestone for me. Thirty Eight was looking to expand their seating as well as replace some table top and bench seating that had been worn due to weather. Working with their needs and within the budget, I recommended Iroko (Milicia excelsa), a close but distinct species to Teak and locally less expensive. It boasts all the same qualities as Teak regarding its durability for outdoor furniture. The table tops, benches, and stool seating around the perimeter of the patio were engineered to replace the worn wood while keeping the bases throughout.
